LADIES MINGLE is a business, career and confidence-building networking event for all women. We meet bi-monthly to support, encourage and uplift each other with opportunities to form meaningful collaborations via activities such as; workshops, talks, exhibitions, training, fun and games. However, we are taking “Ladies Mingle” outdoors on the 3rd of June 2023.
ABOUT LADIES MINGLE OUTDOORS
LADIES MINGLE OUTDOORS is launching as an annual, exciting 2-part event packed with lots of fun and engaging activities to see and do. This ‘ultimate outdoor experience’ comprises a free, fun, daytime segment and a paid after-party. ‘LADIES MINGLE OUTDOORS’ is an adult-only event open to all women, their friends and their partners. We are empowering women and young girls.

Let us step into a world of vibrant excitement and community celebration at the dazzling Ladies Mingle Outdoors event, held on June 3rd, 2023, at the exquisite Mercure Hotel in the heart of Milton Keynes. This event was masterminded by the delectable Folaji Fasanya, the visionary behind this exceptional event.
On this splendid day, the event had several objectives in mind: mingling, networking, fostering relationships, nurturing collaborations, ensuring enjoyment, promoting a healthy day out, and creating opportunities for career progression and job seekers
The event was truly inclusive, welcoming both men and women, who turned up looking resplendent in their white dress code. The event attracted an impressive array of attendees, including esteemed guests like the Mayor and Mayoress of Milton Keynes, who praised the efforts of the Ladies Mingle Outdoors team and encouraged all to embrace the opportunities provided by the festival.
As the doors opened, a world of endless possibilities unfolded before the attendees, and the air pulsated with excitement. The MCs, Facilitators and Moderators were on standby, ensuring the smooth running of the event. Amidst the joyous atmosphere, the event created an incredible platform for both personal and professional growth.
As attendees explored the event grounds, they were met with an abundance of opportunities. The dynamic Fire Brigade and Police teams graciously extended their support, offering valuable guidance to job seekers while also providing essential fire safety insights. The event’s generous Sponsors and Main Sponsor, Admiralty Homes, proudly lent their support, showcasing their unwavering commitment to local initiatives and community empowerment.
Immerse yourself in a world of creativity as you wander through the event’s vibrant exhibits. From the captivating displays of renowned fashion designers to the skilful strokes and know-how of makeup artists, each corner beckoned with its own tale of artistry. The event also featured service providers, like Property Consultants, Health and Fitness, Insurance and Financial advisers, ready to guide visitors towards personal and financial success.
The air itself seemed to dance with the irresistible aroma of authentic pre-packed African cuisine, tempting taste buds and enticing exploration. And let’s not forget the enchanting cake decoration, where edible masterpieces took shape before wide-eyed onlookers. The media partners captured the essence through their magic lenses, preserving these moments for posterity.
But the Ladies Mingle Outdoors event didn’t stop at visual and culinary delights. The multitalented DJ, MindtheGap, served as the maestro of the festivities, setting the stage ablaze with electrifying afro & R&B beats. The infectious rhythm swept through the venue, leaving no choice but to surrender to the music’s enchantment. As bodies swayed and feet tapped to the irresistible tunes, the dance floor transformed into a pulsating sea of joy and celebration.
What can we say about the show of culture by the brightly dressed Igbo Youth Cultural Dancers who entertained attendees with traditional Igbo music and dance. What an awesome performance. Moreover, the event embraced the power of words, with soul-stirring renditions of beloved songs and captivating spoken word performances that wove tales of passion, resilience, and inspiration.
In this captivating gathering, surprises were aplenty. A whimsical 360-degree photo booth offered a unique opportunity for attendees to capture moments of pure bliss, freezing them in time forever. And for those seeking to unlock their inner artist, portrait drawing served as a creative haven, where imaginations ran wild and pencils danced across paper, breathing life into captivating creations. The creativity workshop also featured jewellery making, adding an extra layer of artistry and craftsmanship to the event.
After the sun dipped below the horizon, the festivities continued with an electrifying after-party. The DJ ABBEY G and DJ JEBS together with the MC for the party, MC Doyin Ola, kept the energy high, ensuring that the fun and ambience remained unmatched.
